the last few white/light colour washes i have done, i have noticed that after drying the clothes a couple of the clothes have some blue/grey stains on them about 50 pence piece size. i have done a maintenance wash at 90 degress and no clothes in, but this morning one of my white shirts had this bluey stain on it. any ideas as to what causes this?

this washer dryer has been ok for 2 months....

bearings would be my first suspect

has it got louder on spin recently

try moving the inner drum and see if there is any slight play to the outer drum

deffo not bearing mc too new they last at least 5 years before bearings go on these, id check the filter for a pen or something ,then a few boil washes with white vinegar .anything been dyded in it lateley .

the machine is only 2 months old!!

nothing has been dyed in it ever. I will check the filter when i get home!

could it be the fabric softener reacting when drying?

Or fluff from towels /jeans in the dryer gone though the drum

checked the filter, its clean.

i have done a wash with no clothes at 90 degrees and with some white vinegar in, so i will see what its like next time i dry some light colours.
