How can i get light and ventalation into this room

hi how can i get light and ventilation into this room with no window it used to be a kitchen but is now going to be a sitting room and ther is going to be a three metre extension going at th rear the conservatory is going to be taken out.

Best option would be to get whoever is designing the extension to work it out

Easy option would be a window in the r/h wall of the Dining Room and remove the partition.

Unless the house is semi-detached, of course.

If it's a bungalow, then sun tubes could be a possible answer. If not then some strategically placed mirrors (Like in the early the Tom Cruise film "Legend" (not suggesting , your the prince of darkness BTW)

We thinking of fitting a suntube, not direct experence with them but on paper a great idea....

Got two velux sun tunnels, it's fantastic but depending on your roof position facing the sunlight but not too important
