How do I make reclaimed doors wind- and waterproof?

Hi everyone -
Am considering buying reclaimed old pine double doors for my vestibule. They are really heavy, well-made doors but they need a bit of repair (in terms of various gouges and other marks and dings).
I live in the NE of Scotland so the doors need to be wind- and waterproof - how do I optimise this?
