We want to replace our old electric shower with a thermostatic mixer shower. However what actual work is involved. How does the mixer supply fix to the water system. We currently have a valiant combi boiler. Any advice would me most appreciated as we have no idea.

Mixer will be plumbed to hot and cold feed pipes and no electricery.
Will we need to remove tiles to achieve this

Does the shower back on to an airing cupboard or such like... the pipework could go in there. If not then maybe tiles off wall...
