How long to leave lintels propped for?

Hi all,

As the title, I've finally fitted the lintels to replace the wall I've removed, currently the lintels are still propped while the mortar they will bed on goes off.

Once the bedding mortar has gone off how long do I need to wait before removing the props that are supporting the weight that will bear on the lintel?

You need to get a 'body' of masonry sitting above the lintel, on both leaves and that needs to have at least 24 hours of cure, before removing the props. We just leave ours in place as long as they are not affecting access.
