how many radiators for a system?

in the picture, you will see there is one piece where the walls of the insulation are wider than the pipe hole in the middle.

that is the thick, British Standard lagging for under floors and other unheated spaces.

I see Wickes call it "Water Regulations Pipe Insulation"

The thin stuff is adequate for indoors.

Ok. Going by the picture the walls are marginally thicker than the ID so for 22mm ID something like 25mm thickness would probably be ok?

And for the 8mm pipe should I use 10mm lagging seeing as nobody seems to stock it for 8mm?

edit: ok I see the sort of thing you mean. Wickes dont stock any 10mm or not online anyway.
 
sorry I don't know about 8mm pipe.

The walls are about an inch thick. You should find it in a local builders or plumbers merchant. You will recognise it because it about as thick as your arm.
