Hi everyone, just wondering if someone can guide me the right way on this. I am currently doing the attic up as a spare room and have been given a nice Velux Roof Light Window, just after a rough price on how much it would cost to get someone to fit it? We live near Skipton, Lancashire so London Prices don't apply!!! Thanks
Tom

used to live in silsden.

i reckon fitting a velux will take 6h's max so you will be charged a full days rate. I am sure you can find someone to do it for £150. doesnt included plastering etc or the velux.

Fitting larger velux windows will require two blokes.

Scaffold too.

You may need to buy a load of tile'n' halfs if it is a plain tile roof.

You may need to trim out a rafter and reinforce the remaining rafters.

Expect to pay upwards of £700.

If you are not prepared to pay this then try doing it yourself. You will need a van full of tools. ;)
