I used the chain to pull down the recently fitted roller blind and it fell out of the fiitngs leaving a broken fitting at the the opposite end to the chain one. I am going to order a new fitting set as the fitting doesn't seem repairable but how do I get the end out of the aluminium tube? I don't want to damage the tube or blind. Thanks

They just pull out, but they are ribbed and make a tight fit.
A pair of mole grips will do the job nicely. A few teeth marks on the broken part won't matter.
