Hygena Oven Fan Not working

Recently moved into a new house, where there is a Hygena 'Turbo' fan assisted oven. When the oven is turned on the fan does not rotate and the element gets hot. With a bit of encouragement (i.e. use knife to knock fan) the fan slowly begins to turn and after a few minutes speeds up to its full capacity.

I removed the fan and gave it a clean up (was a bit greasy) and reassembled. But the problem still persists, the fan will only turn with some assistance.

I would have a guess at the grease is stopping it.
If you can give it a good clean, try that. If you want a new fan you will need the cooker model number. It wont be difficult.

Gave it a good clean up, all working fine.

I am now in the good books.
