Hi,
I have a Halstead Balmoral 45f.
The spark is not getting to the ignition point but can be seen discharging when looking at the underside.
I noticed this only seems to happen on wet days so thinking it was due to damp I ran my partners hair dryer over the underside and managed to get the spark to ignite.
Is this something I can tackle, I have very limited experience, or should I call someone in?
Any help appreciated.
Regards
Gary

Probably just needs an HT lead, so normally not much of a difficulty, but you have a "positive case pressure" boiler.
That means the case seals are critically important, so please don't disturb them or products of combustion, which could include Carbon Monoxide, could enter your house. A Corgi would have a flue gas analyser or other method to check it for leaks.
