insulation of concrete floors

I need to insulate a concrete floor and wondered if any one has done this and can give me any advice . I will put laminate floor and wondered if it needs heating as well. Thanks.

are you laying a new concrete floor slab?

or are you installing laminate flooring?

are you installing ufh?

Thanks for answering my query. To Clarify, I live in a ground floor flat which has a concrete floor. I laid laminate floor in the summer but now the winter is here the floor gets very cold especially near the outside wall and has problems with condensation which in turn causes mold. The laminate floor will be easy enough to take up again, its just what to put underneath to insulate it. I know heaters are available but do i really need them or will insullation alone be enough?
