Interior door hinge has numbers.

Hello,

Each of the interior doors in my house has a hinge with a central screw through a square of plastic. This square has numbers in each corner, -1, 0, 1 and 2.

What is this for? An easy way to adjust the door height?

More likely to allow adjustment of vertical alignment , hence the -1 position.
