could some tell me the best saw blade to cut this wood i've used a jigsaw ok ok works ok but when i use a circular saw it burns the wood this is with a new blade a 48tpi by the why 40mm thick by 620mm deep i need to get a straight cut so jigsaw is no good many thanks
you need to speed up/keep constant the feed rate or slow down the rpm
failing that a light sand will remove the burn marks or reposition your strait edge 0.5mm further in and make a pass quite quickly at a constant feed rate if you have to stop the saw moving for any reason like repositioning your body remove the blade from the surface before you slow down
