Is Alphi-11 needed and how much?

I have an open vented central heating system with an oil condensing boiler.

The boiler, (Warmflow B90), is fitted outside the kitchen wall. Therefore there is a short run of about 6 feet of outside pipework, which is lagged. The downstairs has suspended floors with pipework below.
The site is near the west coast of Wales - not very cold!

Should I add an anti-freeze / inhibitor combined, such as Alphi-11, and what would be the right quantity for a system with 11 radiators?

Thanks

And a pipe stat

All the pipes under the floor should be very well lagged the same as the outside ones.

Does fitting frost and pipe stats remove need for Alphi-11 then?

Might it not just as well be added, as an inhibitor has to go in anyway?

Cheers

Good waterproof lagging for any exposed pipes is the first problem, frost stats and pipes stat are perfect in 99.9% of installations unless you get a power cut, then external pipes can suffer damage if the cut is prolonged.

Alphi-11 is a mono propylene-glycol which is corrosive to metals in the wrong quantities, so it's important to get the mixture at 25%, and contain an inhibitor for cast iron, solder, and aluminum, it's also the most expensive to produce.
