The display on my Isar has not worked for a while now, but the boiler otherwise works OK. DHW temperature does not seem adjustable though

The AAV did leak recently and has been changed, and it is clear where this dripped - right on a connector at the back of the display unit.

I've been told that it may be the small bit of circuit board (connector?) which sticks out the back of the display which may be faulty, rather than the whole display unit.

If this is actually a circuit board, then how likely is it that this has failed rather than the whole display unit board?

there is the plug and a back to back socket and the plug at the back of the display PCB.

The dirty water causes electrolysis and the copper PCB track disapears.

Sometimes its possibly to just clean it and dry it but usually it has to be replaced.

If you are good at soldering you can just solder the wiring harness tot he display pCB. But if you get it wrong then you can damage the main PCB at about £140

The digital connector is on the right hand side of the display box. Check this is securely in place. The other end plugs into the pcb.
