am buying a new fish tank, total weight when full is almost 1/2 ton.

In order for the support to be there the tank will be hard up against the wall which between my home and my neighbour (semi detached) problem is I can't take up the floor and check as we paid a fortune to have laminate flooring down and I don't want to ruin it. I am hoping the beams will run outwards from the connecting wall. Is there another way to tell? I obviously need to spread that weigh over as many beams as possible.

Thank you

(Assuming this is the ground floor) can you get under the floor - there is usually a crawl space.
