Hi Folks,

Just had my new driveway done, how do I best protect them?

My paver suggested using sealant to protect but I read that they're not that useful against moss and weeds. He told me sealants will at least protect them for 5 years.

I think sealers are worth it. Get a good one though. Not always the cheapest.
I did a drive recently for a customer. They loved it. I advised them to seal it. They said they would think about it. 4 weeks later their Car leaked oil onto drive. If it had been sealed this would'nt have been such a problem. As it is i had to replace 55 block pavers.

Weeds and moss can be a major headache on these drives. And oil drips from underneath cars.
I'd say seal it. Even it s cheap one and you do it every year (£25) do it.
Once the weeds and moss are in they are a bugger to completely eradicate.
