Hi, the fill valve on this seems to have died so I plan to replace it, only problem is there is no access to any plumbing. The bolts holding the cistern to the base are rusted to bits too! I'm assuming I will at least need to get the cistern off if not the whole thing? Anyone got advice or experience of a similar loo? Not sure where to get replacement nuts . Also, this has always tended to block up, the only manhole is 7foot deep and in our conservatory so I'm wondering if I do have to take the lot off if its worth rodding from the loo end?

Thanks in advance!

Post a photo of what's under the cistern lid, it might be that you have fittings that can be replaced from above

Thanks its siamp monace fittings from the looks of it.
Just checked YouTube and found its likely to be the inlet valve washer so think I'll isolate (no isolator so all water off!) And clean down before looking at replacing. Assume you can order from siamp?
