Lack of vent pipe on vented system

I have what seems like a normal vented system with Suprima 60 boiler.
I have a boiler cutting out problem - I think this is well known on Suprima.
EON tell me it needs a vent pipe adding from boiler to header tank to avoid it happening again (after they have changed the pcb)

Any views?

You may have a combined feed and vent pipe; this is shown in the Suprema Installation Manual.

If the cold water feed (bottom connection) from the Feed and Expansion tank to the heating system is 22mm, you will have a combined feed and vent; but if it is only a 15mm pipe, you should have a separate vent pipe.


What do the Red and Green lights show when the boiler cuts out?
