Hi, I'm thinking of laying laminate flooring in my passage but would prefer it to be installed under the skirting boards to hide the expansion gap.
Unfortunately, the house is 1930's built and taking out the skirting boards to do this is not an option as big pieces of plaster come out with it.
Is there any other way that I can cut the bottom pieces of skirting boards out to achieve the same effect of having the flooring underneath the skirting boards? Or is there any other way that I can do this?
I'd also rather not use beading/scotia to hide the gap - any ideas?
