leaking heat exchanger

If you are really sure it is the heatexchanger, no remedy but replacing it. not and ideal by any chance is it?
 
its a condensing oil boiler....brand new..........installed today..but there a tiny pin hole leak coming fromt the top of the heat exchanger.

so simple, one call to manufacturer, they must replace it under warranty, free and for nothing
 
WARRANTY call out comes to mind........if its a legal installation that is
 
A week??? Shock horror! What brand is this? Completely not on. Are you the installer or owner?
They should not send you the part but an engineer WITH the right part to do it for you!
I would be very firm to say the least.
Whoever you are talking to on the phone, accept only one of two things:
Engineer on his way with part on the double, or name and direct phone number of manager and carry on that way until you speak with managing director and let them know you will name and shame them which will costs them many thousands in lost business.
Please tell us the brand so those of us who are warned can take our business elsewhere. Lots of competition and suppliers know it.

Looks like the man is not telling.

Wonder if it is the same one who wants to solder the pin hole in the SS heat exchanger.
