Length Of Flex

Please can anyone tell me the maximum length of flex I can put on a 2.5Kw storage heater. I want to move the heater from it's present location to about 8 feet away, under a window.

i don't think there is any prescribed limit as long as the cuircuit stays within parameters with the extra wire (which it probablly will).

Just the usual factors of Voltage Drop, and Earth Loop Impedance.

Just a thought: "Under a window"

Could that also mean under a curtain? You need to be careful not to cover the heater in case it sets fire to whatever covers it.
