I am struggling to re-fit a bath. Although the spirit level shows a level fitting in all directions I get a pool of water building up in the far corner below the shower head. Once this reaches a certain depth it runs across the head of the bath and onto the floor!

Any tips on levelling a bath to ensure the water runs into the bath and doesn't sit on the top, please?

(Thank you in advance)

Have you checked your spirit level?
It may be the bath has a defect.
Why not just adjust the bath to stop the pool forming

Thanks for your reply.

No I haven't checked the spirit level as I assumed that they're incapable of being faulty (what can possibly go wrong with a bubble in a glass window?) but I do take your point and should perhaps borrow a friends'.

I don't see how the bath can be faulty as I didn't have this problem before taking it out to get the walls plastered. Clearly it's something I've done wrong.

I have just finished re-leveling it (again!) and applied a fresh seal of silicone. Fingers crossed!
