I've just purchased 12 x Aurora AU-FRLD711B/30 6w LED down-lights for my new kitchen.

Half of these will be two way switched and the other 6 on a one way dimmer.

I would like to use a "Smart" dimmer to control them which will work with Amazon Alexa and was looking at the Lightwave dimmers. From their forum they appear to be trailing edge dimmers but the Aurora spec states an LED compatible leading edge or trailing edge dimmer using a triac is suitable.

Has anyone used the Lightwave dimmers with LEDs and specifically with Aurora down-lights?
Alternatively have you used a smart dimmer that connects directly to the wifi network without having to use a separate gateway device which both Aurora's own smart dimmer and Lightwave dimmers require to work?
Many thanks

Something wrong with using switches on the walls?

You mean these?

Took them out a long while ago and used PVC insulated cable with earth conductor instead of lead sheath and rubber insulated conductors!!
Funny how technology moves on and doesn't stay static.
