Hello all

In the living rm at the moment i have 2 lights, each has its own switch,
Ideally i'd like to have both lights controlled by one switch instead of independently.

Here is a pic of the current: http://imgur.com/f5gra5h

Can this be converted to a normal 10a 1g 2way switch?

The new switch we have to fit has L1, L2 and com.

Many Thanks

Is there any wire connected to the top right-hand terminal of the switch on the right in the photo? If not (can't be totally sure from photo), then the answer to your question is probably 'yes' - indeed even a 1g 1way switch would probably be adequate.

Kind Regards, John

Thanks guys, No nothing in top right.
In that case, do as EFLI said. In fact, as I said, you could even use a 1-way switch (since L2 is not required) - red into one terminal and blue+yellow into the other.

Kind Regards, John

Thanks guys, Done and works a treat :)
Already have the 2 way switch here John so L2 just unused.
Glad to get shot of the old 2g switch.
Thanks :)
