Hi
We are building a 2 story extension and are having a concrete floor in new kitchen and garage. We have put in the hardcore and are about to blind and cover with membrane. My question is this, when the lorry comes, to pour the concrete in, do we need to level it? or will it find its own level. Thanks for any advice

you need wood or another surface aroung the edges fixed as a datum point a long strait edge and lots of shoveling and zigzagging with the strait edge to push the excess and flatten the top

If you get the driver to mix it wet, then it will do most of the leveling itself. If it is too dry, you are in for some hard work.

Unless you are troweling it up as the finished floor, then I would not worry too much in getting it flat
