I am not normally down in the cellar where the boiler is situated when the heating is off and the cylinder calls for heat but I was today and there was a horrible squelching noise in the primary circuit which is connected o the same pump as the heating. Presumably this is caused by air in the system, but how and why is it getting in? Could it be that the pump is too powerful?
