LPG Metering?

Can anyone offer some advice please. For a job where a number of houses have to be fed from an LPG tank, where can the gas meters go?

Can they go in a standard built in external viewing meter box, on the outside wall?

Is this a standard method?

Is the gas meter for LPG simialr to what would be installed on a mains gas supply?

LPG meter boxes are either semi concealed or a special meter housing on a pole which is fastened down on to a concrete slab. Even then corgi advise that the meter box manufacturer be consulted for use with LPG.

Gas meter is just like an ordinary meter but regulator is set to 37mbar for downstream pressure.

See corgi's LPG hand book and metering handbook for further clarifiaction. If you dont have the books try Calor theey'll be able to fax some drawings over i would have thought.
