Man made climate change

thats good to know then that you accept the sun and its affect on our planet is ever changing as we hurtle through space at 67,000 miles an hour while spinning at 100 miles per hour were tiny deviations on our axis can have massive effects on climate

We are talking about man made influences in the last 200 years or so.

Where did you get that idea?

Have we suddenly had a deviation on our axis ?
Unusual that it has had such a profound effect compared to whatever time you want to compare it to

Do you realise that they have satellites in orbit which measure all this stuff?

The thing that struck me about timber is the fact that more extensive use coincides with other aspects such as the industrial revolution. There used to be no thought what so ever about cutting it down. Also as I have had an interest in various timber the number that have essentially disappeared, not just from the tropics as well. Used up.

Rain forest does have a difference. It's been known for rather a long time now that reduction causes climate change. Nothing to do with CO2 but relates to the microclimate they form.

Deniers - can't even accept measurements of the CO2 levels in the air
Unreported World on C4 tonight has a report on illegal logging in Romania. Poland had a problem with that a few years back. Too easy for them to make a fast buck and cover up their tracks. Fencing off native temperate rainforest in this country as a carbon soak has annoyed the farmers but allowing this finite resource to grow will be a bonus, i think.

do you not realise we have only had those satellites for less than the blink of an eye .
go on how long does it take for the earth to do a complete wobble on its axis

do you not even know we have a constant wobble on our axis . Absolute basics

Satellites have been recording this data for more than fifty years. During this time the energy hitting the earth from the sun has fallen ever so slightly. But the global temperature has kept on increasing.

oh a whole 50 years . out of 4.5 billion

It's the bit we're interested in. You are arguing that the recent rise in global temperature is because of a change in the the amount of energy from the sun. I have just shown you that this is incorrect. Here's a graph of the measurements from space since 1978.

There used to be a theory that the deforestation of Europe shifted and changed the monsoons and also changed the Sahara. Happened long ago. Some just don't see the UK as deforested but in a totally unaltered state there would be loads of it about. Huge areas covered with it,
