Mid position -> 2x 2port conversion, worth it?

Hi All,

I've got a system with a danfoss 3 port mid position valve, and the valve is knackered (it's become so stiff that the actuator can't move it).

Obviously I could just replace the valve. However, I could use this as an opportunity to convert to a twin 2-port valve setup. Its only about another £30 in parts and the plumbing/wiring would actually be very easy.

It is worth the bother? Are there any drawbacks to a 2-port system that I don't know about?

thanks

You will need to fit a bypass if there isn't one already in place... not worth the effort in my opinion.

ok, i'll just replace like for like. I shall probably use another danfoss one - a) it's a simpler drop in replacement, and b) local patriotism cos I live in bedford.

thanks for the opinions
