Hi everyone. I'd appreciate some advice please. I have bought some Milano "minimalist" chrome radiator valves to fit to some vertical radiators.
I also bought some flow restrictors due to them being fairly tall radiators.
On unpacking the valves, I was surprised to find that the part where the tail/nut screws onto the valve body doesn't appear to have any form of seal.
What worries me is that the flow restrictors (which replace the tail at one side of the radiator) are fitted with rubber O rings which mate up to the valve body.
So why is there noO ring on the valve tails?
The valve tails are the type with the larger nut that screws directly to the valve-not the compression and olive type.
Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.
