I've taken out a non-functioning concealed mixer shower & am installing an external bar type shower from plumbworld which i've yet to order

http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/1050-15911

The pipework is already behind the wall & i've cleared the way to the top of the pipes which i'm putting elbow connectors on to make the pipes protrude from the wall horizontally.

The pipe centres in the wall are 130mm apart.

The bar mixer valve above in the tech specs states 130-171mm pipe centres.

Does anyone know how these valve pipe centres are adjustable from 130-171mm. From the valves of other makes i've seen already they don't appear adjustable.

Does anyone know how these adjustable valves work?

Cheers JPC,

seems pretty obvious now i think about it.

I take it the point where the pipe enters the valve inlet is a compression fitting?
