Mixer shower running cold mostly

Hi,

We've a mixer shower which is probably 3 -4 years old. We noticed earlier in the year it start to change temp from hot to cold (being cold most of the time). Around the same time the shower head for want of a better word broke and water came pouring out of the shower head seal (limescale? - live in a hardwater area). We replaced the shower head and the hose with new and the varying temp problem went away.

Its now back, and for the most part is cold all of the time. Given we replaced the hose/head earlier in the year would be surprised if its that again so am wondering if its something in the mixer itself - is this possible? perhaps limescale?

For info - we have no problem getting hotwater from any of the taps in the house.

Please advise... Happy to get someone in to look at it but would like a better understanding of possible causes first.

You need to state the shower mixer make and model, and say whether the supplies are mains, tank or tank/pumped.
