I am going to fit a Grohe mixer shower (bar type). The wall fixings that I have been given are two seperate wall plate elbows, each having three screw holes for securing to the wall. Do I simply recess the brick and screw the elbows to the recessed brick? Is this strong enough to hold the shower bar?
