Hi,

I am looking at fitting a jacuzzi / whirlpool bath at home and I saw a picture of one with a nice mixer tap with a shower head that seems separate to the taps (coming out of its own hole in the bath ).

Daft question but is it a case of drilling a hole in any type bath and somehow installing it (rather then a specific bath design for this) ?

Regards.

Yep, any bath and a set of appropriately sized holesaws will do it

Thanks for the reply.
But if the shower hose comes out of the side of the bath - what is to stop any water going down the hose, though it's hole and wetting the floor under the bath ?

Regards.

Are you talking about a shower handset, mounted in the bath and operation via a diverter?
There are special kits for this where the shower hose has a drain off tank fitted beneath the bath. Other than that, yes holing baths in the desired position for handset and diverter.

Yeah that's what I mean. I think I've got my head round it all now.
Thanks for all your help guys.

Regards.

Richard.
