Hi everyone
Your opinions on a suitable method please.
I have just finished repairing the stator of a machine motor, the tails were VIR and had reduced to dust so I fished them back into the windings, soldered new fibreglass coated tails on, then put heatshrink and bakelized paper tubes as per the original layout, megger'd it infinity at 500V, now I just need to re glaze the areas where I pulled off the glazing question is what to use - my thoughts were
Shellac laquer or the potting compound as used in an underground SWA joiner.
any thoughts?
