Murdoch's Empire under attack.

A number of Newscorp empoyees and journalists have been arrested.

An NUJ spokesman said "“If journalists are not allowed to offer protection to their sources – often brave people who are raising their heads above the parapet to disclose information – then the free press in the UK is dead.”

Howver the suspects are being investiagated for allegedly bribing police and other public officials with tens of thousands of pounds.

Bribery=Free Press perhaps?

Or is he just whinging because some criminals have got caught?

Murdoch will just end up withdrawing all Newscorp activity from the UK. I think all Newscorp business (excluding Sky) is about 5% of the overall empire - so won't really be an issue in their bigger picture. The impact to the UK economy, employment etc may well be felt though.
