My Glow worm Compact 100e

Hello.
My Glow worm Compact 100e is being a bit choosy about when it will give me hot water. I haven't had a hot shower for over a week, and I'm a little large for the washing-up bowl! It's been out of sorts for a while, getting increasingly worse. At first, if I turned off the central heating I was guaranteed to get hot water out the tap, but now it is very hit and miss.
I have asked the local plumber to drop by, but he seems to be rather busy. Does any one know if it is likely to be a big job, or could I get the part & fix it myself. Can anyone tell me which part I would need. There does not seem to be any reference to this problem in the troubleshooter that came with the boiler.

I managed to get a chap round yesterday - been running the test he asked me to do this morning- He thinks it is a Diverter Switch?
I reckon it will be difficult to locate as the problem remains intermittent.
But hopefully it will get sorted
