my halstead finest gold will not refill

Hi all i have just emptied my whole system to refit a new radiator , i have now tried to refill the system using the refill tap which is located under the boiler but for some reason it will not refill , the tap turns ok and is not damaged but yet no water will pass through , can anybody advise me as to where i am going wrong because i have tried the basics with no joy , i have used this tap in the past to top up the boiler when the pressure was low and i cant see why it is not working now

Is there another valve closed

Some filling loops/boiler fillers have two valves that have to opened at the same time.

Could also be a faulty valve. You could fit a conventional filling loop (£10) and use that if the boiler one is US/
