I have a terraced property with a small area of flat roof to the back. I bought it in 2006. In ~2007 I had the front guttering repaired and the flat roof repaired which was leaking.
After the recent storm it has started to leak again but in a different place. Only a few drips when it is raining. I need to get it looked at but tentatively called my insurance as it seems the storm has caused it.
My insurance asked me to get a roofer to take some pics and put something in writing that storm damage could have caused the issue + quote. They will then authorise repairs. I'm assuming they will let me use who I like.
Is it likely the insurance will cover this? I spoke to one chap and he didn't seem convinced or interested. I think mentioning insurance put him off. Can anyone recommend anyone in or around Bolton/North West?
