Hi,
I took a radiator down to drain and paint. In the meantime the walls were replastered. When I attempted to redrill holes to re-hang the radiator I hit the old wooden raw plugs which disintegrated as well as a small part of the surrounding walls, which are not in good condition beneath the new plastering. The drilling went into the brick work and I expanded the holes slightly to try and make for more uniform filling.
Basically I'm looking for advice on how to fill these holes (with what?) and make them strong enough to hold the radiator. I couldn't see anything that looked up to it at the hardware shop and the guy there launched into a long story that left me confused.
Left hole: approx. 27mm width x 25mm height x 67mm depth
Right hole: approx. 36mm width x 35mm height x 62mm depth
Anyway advice would be much appreciated! I've attached some photos below to make the problem clearer.
Thanks!!
