Just bought a house that has a spare wc/sink in a room just off of the kitchen. Need to remove these and want to make into a utility room, where I would like to washing machine... can rip out the suite, but no idea what / how to remove the piping from above floor level. Also, is the plumbing that is already in place for the sink and toilet able to be used to plumb in a washing machine... slightly clueless when it comes to pipes, I'm afraid, but have more clued-up people who could help me - just need some guidance. Thanks!

First job is to find where you turn your hot and cold water off!
Yes the pipes will be OK for WM - eventually!

Don't overlook revised soil pipe arrangements. You'll have some making good to do with the WC gone. If this outlet isn't closed off properly you'll get some nasty niffs coming back at ya.
