1) Any idea how I can find the old hob's numbers? Not planning to trash/replace kitchen units
2) Would any ceramic hob fit above any new Neff electric oven making the finding of old numbers irrelevant?
3) Will new hob/ovens fit same worktop/unit cutouts, in your experience?
Reason: I have to replace 20+ year old Neff oven & hob - no paperwork as not bought by me. I found the oven's model numbers and Neff have advised current equivalent model but I can't get at numbers for the Hob so they can't advise. This because this style had the hob's push-in round control buttons in the top of the front fascia of the separate fitted oven beneath, above the drop-down door. Will find when the old oven comes out I suppose, but want to order both at same time. There are kitchen units either side of oven.
