Netting for underfloor rockwool insulation

Suspended wooden floor.
Is basic bird netting strong enough, with plenty of staples?

or would I need something stronger? Guessing that this is strong enough.

I think almost anything will do really.

Do you run is across all the joists, and put the boards back over, or cut it to size and fasten on the sides of the joists for each section?

Do whatever’s easiest. It does need to be fixed (staples or whatever) quite close together in my experience.

in two minds still, might do what I did in the other room, put in 25mm solid board with 50mm rockwool on top. Wnat to ensure a good vapour barrier, I think, so the woodworm below won't want to come back.
