I've just had a new combination boiler fitted, it's fitted I'm my outer building and the flu exits out a one of the side walls, the issue I have is the flu had a 45deg end on and this is turned upwards, I'm just concerned of water entering the flu and then the boiler.
Is this correct?

yes
Your gas registered fitter presumably followed manufacturer's instructions.
Water entering will drain via the condensate system.

It's just the terminal, it just clips off, ill try and post a picture.

It probably is a plume deflector.

Manufacturers vary and some say they should not point upwards.
