Hello

We are replacing our entire ground floor which is currently a mix of suspended timber and solid floor.

We are planning on
Fill/blind
DPM
Slab 100mm
200mm EPS
Poly sheet
50mm Gypsum flo screed with UFH pipes.

The floor is fairly well vented at the minute in the suspended timber areas.

Some of the walls are solid so wont need ventilation but 3 walls on the more recent extension are cavity. I assume these will need some sort of ventilation through the brick work?

Thanks

Neil

also may be advisable to run some pipe from your existing vents under floor to any suspended floors left to eliminate dead areas.

Cavity walls do not need ventilation.

Good stuff, thanks for the replies :D

Yep entire ground floor is being replaced, wasnt sure about venting the cavity walls but ill not worry then if the exiting vent bricks get blocked.

Only bathroom and kitchen timber floors to go then its time to dig out the existing soild floor. Hopefully get the concrete poured before xmas.
