We have a new porch area and I need to instal a new front door and frame. I am thinking of a Tricoya door rather than composite or UPVC as this will suit the property. Tricoya is supposed to be very good. I am thinking in a hardwood frame it should be a good solution. Can anybody tell me if they live up to the hype and are relatively easy to instal?

Regarding the frame, I need a "universal" frame to cut to size because I will be having a single sidelight and the hole is not a standard width (I can just set the mullion for a regular sized door and custom glaze the remaining sidelight space). I have seen XL Joinery do such a thing but has anybody any preferred supplier (we are in Devon) as I am looking for a good quality frame with weather seals.

Finally I would be grateful if anybody could suggest a good brand of hinges as I am aware from hanging internal doors that hinge quality can vary a lot!
