My combi has been unreliable over the years, and is due for replacement. I have decided that I want a more reliable and easier to maintain system, that still gives good showers.

Can I have a new system with the following;

Broag Remeha Avanta 15v heat-only boiler

Megaflow/unvented cylinder

Seperate external exp. vessel, pump and S-plan valves/controls

I realise I could have a system boiler, but want it as simple as poss, so that I can repair or replace all non-boiler components myself.

Any advice appreciated.

The Remeha is a fantastic piece of kit underestimated by many who have yet to try one! my 35c Combi hasn't put a foot wrong in nearly three years.....must get round to giving it a service!! :oops:

I am open minded an will try most things i like the logic, but i also agree with stainless steel heat exs.

aluminum aren't the best like are they!
