I think that I am going to have to bite the bullet and get an oak door made up as my old one is in very poor condition now.
Its going to be expensive! About 2134 x 910.
But the door has been presumably planed off to fit the frame? Or perhaps the door was wrong and the frame was made to fit the door. They are both original from 1926 when the house was built.
The frame is pine! Is there any easy way to shave 10 mm off the rebate in the frame???
