Hi all. After draining the hot and cold water tanks to fit a new set of taps on the bath, and turning everything back on once done, I've got no hot water in my flat.

I've tried flushing the hot water system out by connecting mains-pressure water from the washing machine to the other (hot) water outlet for a minute. This gets water running round the system, but only when I do this.

Central heating's fine though-- I've got a Potterton Prima F boiler. I just don't understand why the CH is working fine, but there's no hot water flowing through the taps.

What could be wrong?

Air lock?

Of course your heating wont be affected!
Different water.....and you really want that out of your taps?

Connect cold to hot with a hose pipe and persevere
